Since Jr high I kept a watch a year or two before switching. Then found Seiko. Had nothing but skxa35 for 3 years. Bought a Tag carrera. Joined watch forums and it was the worst decision of my financial life.

My first real watch was worn for 8 years. When the bracelet broke I found the big forum researching the SKX009. That resulted in many purchases and flips to the point that I burned out and sold everything and wore an orange Monster for two years until I found this place which re-energized me into the hobby for a while. This whole forum thing started about 10 years ago now I believe, maybe a bit longer.

Maybe in high school, as I've always had 2 or 3 watches since college. I wore the ExpII Polar for a week only because it was the only watch I packed for the Las Vegas vacations earlier this year.

Well, I wore a G-Shock for a few months thanks to some Asian's guys great idea. Frankly I was broken after that. Still recovering.

I wore my first "REAL" watch for years as my only piece, probably 6 or 7 years easily. Citizen Aqualand Promaster. Purchased early 80's, still have it. Occasionally wear it.

Mine is not near as pretty as this example.

I bought a nice white dial Bulova Marine Star when I was a rookie cop. I wore it every day for about 12 years. My dad has it now and still wears it regularly.
