Looking to help sell a friend's Rolex. Advice?

Post by manitoujoe » Sat Apr 09, 2016 3:54 pm

Hi, everyone.

So, my friend's sister is looking to sell her Rolex and came to me for advice. What's the best way for a non-WIS? She's in Atlanta. From what I know, she's just looking to sell. Any reputable dealers? Anyone looking for a women's Rolex? LOL

Thanks in advance!

Don't know the model/etc, but here are some pics:

I'm sure one of the trusted dealers will buy it

Any names you guys trust? The only Rolex I've got is a legacy and it's in my lockbox. :)

I think you should bang the seller, whilst strategizing the best avenue for Rolecks disposal. After a few romps, lowball her and flip it here.

I think you should obscure the serial number.

I'd hit up the pro sellers for a quote and then offer it at whatever they give you. If it doesn't sell, offer it outside DWC for 10 or 15% more.

On edit: it's the 26mm ladies watch. Here's sense of what people are asking:

Cool. Can someone PM me the names of the sellers? Like I said, I'm way out of my depth here.

Mostly all of those who have posted a 114060 for sale in the last 31 days on TRF belong to that category.
