RSC will be better service and lower cost than your current jeweler.

Heading that way. Talked to a guy at ABC, was very nice.

Chris....try Dom.

He was brought to the US by Rolex to start TX service center. Now his own gig by me.

- Overhaul
- new crown and tube
- new mainspring "rotor arbor"
- new reversing wheels
- $1250, 5-6 weeks.

So, I have a few questions. Given the extent of what is needed is that a reasonable cost? He asked if I dropped it given what's needed and of course I'm sure I did sometime in the last 7 years but can't recall anything specific.

Anything else I should be asking or thinking about? First time I have had any damage to a watch and needed this much. 1250 sucks.
Sounds expensive. I had my 2003 service late last year at Rolex - £430

So should I send directly to Rolex service center? I'm located in Southern Ohio so if anyone knows a good contact in this area, I'd appreciate it.
Send it to Dom. He will be much more careful if you want a polish. Cheaper too.

That's ludicrous

My bro got one of his subs overhauled by RSC and it was around 6-700.

No way it should be over a grand.

I've been using Dominique Wieland, same guy Mike and AJ use. He's done 3 snowflakes and just finished my sub last month.
It was $600. I kept original crystal or it would be about$150 more.
Dom Wieland will get all of my business, short of a warranty repair. he's done several for me over the last 2 years. highly recommend him.
Dom did my snowflake. Great guy great work and fast at a fair price.

I have used all three. I would use ABC and RSC again. Dom Weiland will get my repeat Rolex Service in future.

Another vote for Dom. He serviced my father in laws Rolex DJ and it was very reasonable. I'll have to see if I can find his invoice. He does great work, good communication, and pretty fast turn around too.
