GMT watches are an anachronism.
only accurate watches are interesting

No idea if it would ever happen, but I'd like to see it. Of course, my real fantasy watch is a GMT in the Pelagos case. I'd be happy with a 2893, although I prefer the Rolex/Omega/Grand Seiko function. I just hope they avoid the War and Peace approach on the dial.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
