So this guy is selling a NOS BNIB Z serial sub date for almost 8K
I get why he thinks it's worth that much, but why would someone pay that much? Once you take the stickers off it is no longer new and therefore no longer NOS and its retail price drops about 2K. Am I missing something?

Don't think you're missing anything. His email hints at him being a dealer or dealership, so he charges more to cover overhead. Not sure. Still, only a watch "investor" would pay that much at the hope to sell 20 years later at a premium because of the stickers.

Collectors wouldn't peel the stickers.
Re: Quick question for Rolex experts
I see quite a few of these (both 16610's and 16600's). As said, unless you're a collector who's just going to put it in a safe (or have a real hang up about pre-used and truly intend to keep the watch for a long time), there's absolutely no reason to pay this kind of money for one of these. Putting it on your wrist is like driving a new car off the lot - instant depreciation.
Re: Quick question for Rolex experts
Would you get a good premium for an NOS 1665 today? That's the calculus if you have part of your portfolio in watches....
