Anyone hear a rumor about a new Tudor

I heard there was a new Tudor being released next week, possibly a black bezeled Black Bay. Found a crappy pic, but looks like it has a red triangle around the bezel pip, like "the one" being auctioned next month. I love the Black Bay, but only really wear black watches, so if it's true, I'm in.

Yes, the rumor's been going around for a few weeks. I've heard the announcement will be next Thursday. Black bezel, gilt dial would be killer. Even better if they slap the new in-house movement in it.

Based on that pic I'm guessing it's still ETA. Doesn't the in house Pelagos have a bunch of extra text on the dial? Plus I think even "the one" has an ETA, which is odd. I never visit TRF, so yesterday was the first I'd heard of it.

The pic is an IG pic someone found, and it could be the real deal, or just an aftermarket bezel on a red BB.

I hope it's a new case- more like the traditional sub case.
If so- it's an instant buy.

I agree. The cases on the BB and Pelagos are to big.

The one I've been waiting for...unless it has the novel of text like the new BB. I finally tried on a blue one at Tourneau last weekend. The blue wasn't as bad as all the photos I've seen, but the wall of text was a definite deal breaker.

I'm not so sure. Apart from watch nerds, I don't think too many people are cross shopping Rolex and Tudor.

It is confirmed. It will be introduced on the 15th. I've no idea if the new movement is inside.

I like it! I think I still like the blue better, and I'm going to hold out for an in-house version.

I loved my BBB, sold it as it was too chunky.
I can be ok with 41mm, but it has to be slimmer

Ranger case is perfect. Drilled lugs, great profile.

Sounds like it's the gilt dial with a black bezel. I've got nothing else.

No, nobody seems to know for sure, but it seems like it's got to be. It'd be nice if it was like the one-off version, with the pencil hands, but I can't imagine Tudor releasing that before "the one" even gets sold at auction.

if they put the same in-house movement as the Pelagos, it will be thicker than if they are stayed with ETA.

The one-off for auction has a different handset. But I hope this rumor is true.
I can just get the black insert instead of buying the whole thing.
And maybe the black crown turtleneck thing.

I believe the crown tube would have to come out. Not likely to get the parts separately, unless you have a tight connection.

I'd just sell the red and buy the black.

The bezel was black which made it ruder,
The red was OK, it was called the Black Bay,
But, a red triangle would be much cooler.
