It looks as if this just might be real, and if so...whoa. Tudor's not messing around. We'll know soon enough.

Little plain for me. And that pr looks like it came right off the eterna concept diver. I am glad to see Tudor w in house though!!!
Re: New Tudor in-house movement and 70hr PR
Yes a watch aimed at the Explorer 1 crowd with anything
Other than drilled lugs ready for a nato seems asinine.
Integrated none generic lugs are a very bad idea.
I like it other than that (big) faux pas.

I don't think it's even close to an Exp1.
With the blurred logo, I would think it was an Orient watch.

It's like their Ranger, only uglier, and with a better movement.

With the better movement, ABTW speculates ~$5k to $6k.lilhoody wrote:It's like their Ranger, only uglier, and with a better movement.
Even more the reason to say no to this for me.
But I'll wait for AtomTom to weigh in.

The one on the strap reminds me of a Swatch. Don't get the in-house movement thing: Tudor's part of Rolex, no?

We have two threads on this.
To sum up my post in the other thread:
Eterna KonTiki, not thrilled with the design from the pictures, like the idea of the movement and the exhibition case back, bet it's going to be expensive.

Re: New Tudor in-house movement and 70hr PR
boring design,,,,makes me yawn,.....i wouldn't buy it regardless of in house movement....will be interesting to see what a in house does to pricing for tudor models as that was one of the only separators from tudor to rolex was lack of in house....they are supposedly made in the same factories, same materials, cases etc as i understand. Perhaps they become priced more in line with rolex and rolex uses tudor to experiment with non traditional rolex designs etc,

$6k and it doesn't even have chamfers?!?! WTFO?
I like how un-Rolex it is. I don't like how IWC it is. If that makes sense.

I saw a wrist shot that actually made me like it a bit more today. Let me dig it up...
Re: New Tudor in-house movement and 70hr PR
$6K? So much for filling the void that Omega left.
