If you've read any of them Dowling is by far the most knowledgable in that group.

Dowling is an encyclopedia on vintage pieces and his collection is that of a truly knowledgeable connoisseur. He can also string a sentence or two together and not trip over himself.

Ben's another one who knows his way around a watch.

I didn't mean to imply Clymer is a poser. Far from it. Just that Dowling appears to be the most knowledgeable of the group and is the most enjoyable and informative at least for me to read. Ben seems to be more an editor than a lone writer. In that capacity he excels.

I actually didn't really notice how poorly it was written.... maybe I have just become use to poor writing in general...
All you have to do is go to Boston.Com or any site like that and the writing is garbage...

Anyway, I thought the article was informative, at least for me....Not Pulitzer Prize worthy for sure...........

I am glad other people have noticed the journalistic downward spiral. It is a shame.

It is also, everywhere. I am by no means a good talkist or grammarizer ( I mean: well spoken or a writer) but I do not put myself out there as a professional journalist either. When you do, i think you set yourself up to be held to a higher standard. But with the proliferation of Blogs, you are forced to wade through all the shite to find well written pieces. The internet is filled with awesome stuff (and non-porn stuff too), but it has no filter, no editor. Like me when I am drunk.

Girl jeans? I believe so.

I haven't read that article in a while and I'm certainly not going to waste my time now. By the way, did anybody notice Adams misspelled "webistes" on his own bio? Grammar is not his forte. It's just sad that dipshits like this are actually given a medium in which to shill their crap. I can't even use the word "knowledge" as I don't believe he can purport to have any.

WOW what a shit article, good info but he really fucked up the presentation of that info. Rolex should ban his ass from ever coming back and wasting their time. You would think someone like Rolex who seems to worried about their image that they wouldn't let a turd tour their facilities and write about it.

Hell next thing you know they will hire Perez Hilton as a representative.

Oh and Ariel looks like he has some super long jeans on that wear hemmed up to fit him because he is fat and short (like me). But in honesty he looks like a Bear.

That albino dude looks like the guy in Me, Myself, and Irene.
