Rolex Service Center BH

Post by hoppyjr » Sun Dec 21, 2014 12:06 am

Just wanted to share how pleased I am with the RSC Beverly Hills -

I sent my 114060 to Peter an he delivered to RSC/BH about three weeks ago, to have the bezel aligned under warranty. Apparently Beverly Hills is able to ship outbound, but does not receive packages. They aligned the bezel and I received the watch a week later, which isn't bad when we consider the Thanksgiving holiday was during that time.

Upon inspection I noticed a scratch on the crystal that I hadn't noticed before, likely occurring when they aligned the bezel. I called the RSC and the manager asked me to ship it back immediately. Once again Peter handled the delivery for me. The manager (Vema) called and advised that she was ordering a replacement crystal because they didn't have one in stock. She agreed to replace the crystal at no cost to me, which seemed appropriate. Unfortunately, the replacement crystal was flawed so another was ordered and installed. While it was opened up, Vema had the watchmaker regulate the watch and pressure test. The result is absolutely perfect, keeping exact time with the atomic clock since I received it back on Thursday 12/18 (60 hours).

The service at RSC/BH was excellent, as I have experienced several times in the past.

A special thank you to Peter for the double assist!

Glad to hear it, Ed! Indeed, I hear the same praise for RSC NYC. While I have yet to require their services, it's nice to know that I can drop off the D-Blue in person and expect that it'll properly taken care of.

Regards,
Adam

Does BH actually do service now? They used to just collect watches and forward them to RSC Dallas.

They do. Before they realized they didn't have the crystal, I was told I can come back in 3 hours and pick it up.

Peter, did they give you any grief about the warranty card not in your name? Rolex NYC wouldn't do something as simple as remove a speck under the crystal since the card wasn't in my name (even though it was under warranty).

Thanks Brian. I'd be glad to help good DWC peeps.

Todd, no they didn't. They were really nice.

They don't seem to have any consistent policy with this. When I called Dallas, they said sure, send it in.

Rolex NYC can suck it.

Petre just loves to handle your package. Handling your package is payment enough.

Usually payment cums after the package has been handled....

Both Eds know what's up.

Justin, depending on the size, I might even have to send you payment.

On edit: just before everyone starts asking for a handling, I said I'd be glad to do this to good DWC peeps. I have to like you. Otherwise that would just be slutty.
