The real point of interest is Rolex prices controlling for inflation and exchange rate. I bet they would be even flatter.

Doesn't look terribly flat to me, especially if you replot using a fixed distance timeline. The Sub increases on a ten year basis are all considerable percentages higher, with no obvious end in sight.
