I've always admired the watch for its history but have always overlooked it at the ad. Sized and on the wrist though it's a thing of beauty and is as comfortable as they come. If you can live with another no date this is one to try out at the least. Mine's a keeper.

A great contender for an only watch.
My one and only "concern" with the watch, it's a Rolex.

I prefer not to engage in a conversation with a non-WIS on why I would ever spend so much money on a watch.

Happy to say, I've pretty much dodged that bullet so far.

Never let someone else's opinion about how you spend your money concern you. There is always someone out there that will find a problem with what you do. There will always be some idiot that engages in the same sport, fashion etc. as you but is a complete douche about it. Never let that person dictate what you do. Best line from Office Space on this subject: "Why should I change, he's the one that sucks."

I've had my SubC ND for a year this week, which I'm pretty sure is a record for me, and I don't even think about trading it any more. There is just no better watch for me.

The only watch I currently own for more than a year is the DC-67, which doesn't count...

most of the time was spent being repaired. :raised:

I laughed, but it is sad. I'll never go Damasko or Sinn again, based in service issues. I'm still on the fence with Kobold.

I've sold many Rolex, in part because of the "Rolex image" but I now admit it was a poor decision. Rolex builds a durable, functional, and attractive wristwatch - I wish I had a 114060 now.
