Considering trading:
F serial LV Sub
+
Matte dial 16800
FOR
Matte Dial 666 SD (priced for sale around $11.5k)
Thoughts? Trying to consolidate but this two-for-one has me torn because I'd hate to give up my two subs but the matte dial 666 has been haunting my dreams for years.
Just as a comparison - I'm also considering trading my AP diver/bracelet + LV sub + a little cash for a 44MM AP Novelty SS or AP FC Diver straight up... but that might be stretching it a bit. Too much going on in my head and haven't had anything new in a while so I'm getting an itchy trigger finger.

Not sure I'd do it. Matte dial 666s have shot up in price recently, but I wonder if the bubble on that is going to pop. I'd almost rather do it for a 5513 or a 1680.
Otoh, the heart wants what it wants.

Wow. 666 looks great, but so does your 16800. That's quite a dilemma.
I guess the question is whether you think the step up from a 16800 to 16660 is worth the ~$6k you'd get for the LV.
Given my recent experience, the only advice I can give is the old saw: get what you want.

11.5 is far too much IMO, as much as I love the 666. At 11.5k, it better be literally NOS.

The other side of that equation is the current value of an early LV. They're insane right now. I'm not sure it's any more a bubble than the 666
