First SD-C I've seen listed at under $9,000.

Still crazy expensive, but it's my favorite of all the newer models. On the other hand, I compared it against my 16600 and prefer the older version. The bracelet and clasp are a huge upgrade, and the dial/hands are the best interpretation of the maxi look, but the bezel is a bit much IMO.

116600 SDCs are 8299 new (no papers, with jomashop warranty) on ebay right now - via the seller Jomashop.

Been that way for a few days now. Don't know how long will last.

I'm still not at the point where I can justify trading my Sub-C and coming up with the extra cash, particularly since I also have a 16600 that I really like.

On jomashop, I know they have a great reputation, but something about buying the watch without Rolex papers (even though I know it's legit) bothers me.

I just received a 5% (or maybe 10% I can't remember) off coupon for an Ebay purchase. That would bring this watch down nicely if it applies.

If it's a keeper for 8299 it's a steal.
However I'm guessing that's about where they'll level off on TRF.

Just wanted to throw it out there for those who want now.

I have bought from jomashop in the past. I have had no problems.

Don't mean to slag jomashop - I've purchased from them before, too - just nothing this expensive. Just my personal hang-up, and it's an outstanding deal.

Jomashop one time sold me a watch they didn't have in stock and I had to wait almost two months to get it. I won't do business with them again.

Too expensive. Even for a steal, you could have a sub C and a Speedmaster for the same money. I know which of those I'd pick.

Yes, HQ Milton had one a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was listed around $9k. A good deal from a trusted seller.

Of all the new ceramic Subs, I'm most tempted by this one. Thinking about swapping my 114060 towards one of these.

Yup. I'll get a JLC Tribute to the Deepseadweller, thank you.

Yes, I was referring to HQ Milton (Jaket). I got well under $9k. I love that watch. Also HQ Milton is an awesome place to buy from. Hilarious location though.

I wouldn't sell mine for $9k nor would I take a Sub C / Speedy for it either. I've owned pretty much every modern sport model and this has been my favorite by a long shot with the BLNR a distant second.

New ones are going in my area for just under 10K I should think that a used one is less.

These are really sweet, I'd have to have a ton more disposable income to upgrade to one from my sub-c ND though. Since I'm in downsizing mode I dunno if I'd want to have a bunch of SS rolexes in my collection.... but I dunno, maybe I'll come around.
