Don't worry about me affecting the market. I'd have to sell one of my kids to afford one of these.

Looked again.

Still don't like it. Lots of other awesome watches for that money. Plenty of which would also look great on blue ISO.

WTF were they thinking with the pea green writing?

I love how people on another site when they saw unofficial shots were hating
It, but how that's it's official they're suckling at the Rolex teat as if this is the second coming.

Actually, I hope they discontinue the "real" Deepsea for this one-it'll make mine more valuable.
Current
Alpina Extreme Diver 300 | Benarus Ti47 | Breitling Avenger Seawolf | Eterna KonTiki Super 1973 | Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic | Hamilton Pan Europ | IWC Aquatimer 2000 | Korsbek Oceaneer | Linde Werdelin The One 2.6 | Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre | Omega Seamaster 300 Titanium | Omega Seamaster 2531.80 | Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow | Panerai 005 | Rolex Deepsea | Steinhart Nav-B 6497 | Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military | Stowa Seatime | Zenith El Primero Stratos

Incoming

Considering
PAM 422 | AP Royal Oak 15400 Silver | Rolex Explorer II 42mm Polar | Omega PO 8500 XL

It's blue fading to black, just like the light fading at depth - another watch designed by a committee of 12 year olds.

Or a movie director. I'm sure Cameron may have had some input. He seems he's been rocking the DSSD of late.

I love how Rolex doesn't give a fck what people think and still sells a ton of their watches.
You ask them for a 42mm Titanium Sub they go fck you here's a DSSD with a two tone dial and jello green font...
And everyone is like okay, where do I sign up

Half passed never by the looks of it. The guys on TRF are going crazy with anticipation.
Yeah - I've been watching that thread - it was over 20 pages last I checked. Phillip Stahl is convinced it's a new blue dialed DSSD with some sort of special blue phosphorescent ceramic case. I'm never sure how much he knows and how much he's just speculating.

I would hope he didn't graduate from The Obvious School of Design, but it's possible. Rolex should have licensed the stupid Seiko full/empty power reserve and the iwc altimeter triple date. They could have made the most cynically trite watch of all time.

Wouldn't this be the reason it's greenishy?

I think it'd be great if the entire dial was blue. Not liking how it "fades to black".

Strange. The idea is cool, but I won't buy it. I will say an all blue version with blue bezel could have been the thing to get me to a DSSD.

Whew. Now we have something other to talk about other than bremont. That's old news.

Like bremont, this too shall pass.

That thing sucks! Did they do a joint venture with Invicta that we are unaware of?
