Rubber B on a BLNR!

Post by 1watchaholic » Wed Jul 30, 2014 8:40 am

I just saw the look today and I'd seriously now look into getting one of these for my BLNR! I think I may pass on the Blue stripe and go plain black but I love the overall look! (NOT my photo! WyoWatch)

I think any sane colored strap would look great on that watch because it's a lovely watch. However, I think many other straps would look much nicer than this one. I don't "get" the aftermarket fitted end link rubber straps - especially when fitted to something besides a diver. The stock clasp on rubber is anathema to me as well.

That was a very good question, Matt. Two 116710 versions were released: one with a green GMT hand; the other with a blue GMT hand.

So they released two color stripes: blue and red. That makes a lot of sense.

Get the red one. Then you can wear it specially for Christmas.

I'm fine with the brushed bracelet, was just curious...

plus I got enough going on already with poor strap choices.

Love it. Great way to have a dressy watch with the polished center links and a super casual sporty watch with the rubber

It would be nice to see that $280 price move down.

I might be in, depending on what the response is to your email.

Not sure about the green line, though, might just go solid black.
