Biggest Rolex?

Post by PGERRITY » Fri Nov 01, 2013 8:53 am

It seems like Rolex is on the smaller side.. What model Rolex has the biggest face? Ideally I like a 46/48mm.... Whats my best option?

Even it is only 44mm. Rolex likes to stay in the "tasteful" range.

With this exception:

The DSSD is the largest overall. However, for largest dial, my guess would be the newer 42mm Explorer II.

I love the explorer ii, it seems like it's a decent size. A little less pricey than the DSSD too, lol

What about the YMII? It's fairly big too, right?

Forgot about these - I think they check in at 44mm. Never been on my radar screen due to the price and for other reasons.

I think the Sky Dweller also checks in at 42mm, but really high price.

DeepSea is the biggest, baddest and most technologically advanced Rolex Diver.

OK I had plenty of bourbon, all small wrist wussies I'm ready for your excuses.

Great comparison shots!

Surprised how the Explorer fairs pretty well in head-on comparison shots.

You're right Zack, the YM II has a massive presence indeed....especially in all gold. Turned me off of it.

Wore Pats dssd yesterday at lunch. Not big compared to actual big watches, but it is tall and is beefy feeling.

Yeah, its a monster. I found it to be too heavy for my tastes. Maybe ok on a RubberB. Looks bad though for sure
