Anyone Else Really Liking The Blue/Black GMT?

Post by dshap » Mon Oct 07, 2013 12:16 pm

The more I see it, the more I want one. Right after the release, I wasn't too excited about it, and like many, I was hoping for a pepsi bezel. Something about the unusual blue and black combo has really grown on me, and now I'm starting to think how I can get my hands on one once prices come down.

I go back and forth on it...Sometimes I like the black w/green GMT hand and other times I just want an older "Fat Lady"....The new one is starting to grow on me--price needs to come down, though...

Not for me. Prefer the all black of the current line up but would really like to see a Pepsi.

I feel the same. I think I actually like the stealthy nature of this more than I would a Pepsi.

I like it. I just don't like the polished center links.

I love it, but I have always liked a blue black combo (blue jeans,/ black boots etc).

I have to see one in person. From the pics, I'd say that I prefer the standard GMT with the all-black ceramic insert, but perhaps having it on my wrist will change that.

I like it. I wish it was 42mm like a Pelagos or Black Bay.

It's growing on me, but price is still a bit high.

Very sharp looking, but like a bunch of others have said I am not a fan of the PCL.

I caught one in person a few weeks back. It didn't sway my initial impressions...I'm still underwhelmed.

BTW: The blue is a funny blue; bright but dark enough, it has chameleon like properties. I'm sure that doesn't help. I really don't know how to describe it other wise.

It's growing on me, but I think I need to see one in the flesh.
