I had wanted a red strap but couldn't find any I liked, Alessandro surprised me by having one made and gifting it to me. Stunned to say the least.

Works really well to highlight the second hand.

Dan, your EF Bronzo is amazing to say the least - the black dial/black hands combo was my (close) second choice. I went with the 9681 GF fixed bezel. I did the pre-aged bronze finish, olive green dial with fat font arabics (no date), 18k YG hour/minute hands, orange second hand, 18k YG NB logo on crown. 72 total pieces, mine will be 1 of 24 for US.

Basically this with gold hands:

Very very nice, has infant prompted me to look into a PVD with same design ( sans Bronzo ). Will look fantastic on an ammo strap.

I've preordered this bronze, brown-dialed Lum Tec:

I hope it's as good as it looks. I had an M series auto several years ago, but I really wasn't crazy about it, and I had to let it go.

I cancelled my order. I couldn't get past the date window which stands out like a wart on that dial.

Chris, I hear you loud and clear. I sure wish they would offer that option since I'm of the opinion that we like minded individuals are the majority. BUT, I'm hoping that it's like the cyclops on my 243 in that the whole of the design outweighs the flaws. If not......look for it on the sales forum.

I hope you are right. I don't even notice the cyclops on my 243 even though I swore up and down that I hated them and would never buy a watch with one. Maybe the black dial LT Bronze wouldn't bother me so much.

I like that, especially the fact that is doesn't have the useless round date window. :fro:
