The Dial

Post by Graeme » Sun Feb 14, 2010 6:32 am

I made up a few templates if you guys want to play with dial ideas. The date windows are the exact dimentions of an ETA2824-2.

Hope this helps,

Graeme

Very nice of you to do that Graeme. Thank you.

I'm a prefer the 6 position, but either is really fine with me.

I actually prefer no date (so I don't have to set it each time I pick up a watch in rotation) but either in 3 or 6 position would be fine.

I'd like one of those big cut-outs that show yesterday and tomorrow....

I KEED, I KEED! :puke:
3 or 6 is fine with me.

date at 6 is sweet. So is that last mock up - I love a silver sunburst effect.

If I had to choose at this point, I'd pick the silver sunburst w/ date at 6 also. But, I really don't feel all that strongly about it. I probably don't need anymore silver watches do i?

I prefer the 6 o'clock date window as well. I also prefer the 2824 over the seiko movement.

6 would probably be my first choice, but as long as it has a date I'm not really all that fussed either way.....

I'm down for 6 o'clock date window.

I also prefer black dial.

I'm sorry guys, I meant this as a reply within the existing dial thread.
Still getting accustomed to a new format. Mods, please move if you like.

Feel free to copy the dial pictures to your computers, and you can use them to draw your ideas for Hour/Minute markers etc.

okay 6,

I would rather wait on choosing dial color until the markers are decided upon. :hand:

No preference on date position as long as it exists.
