WATCH OR WEAPON

If you do not know this watch, it is a Seiko SKZ281 Mens Watch Stainless Steel Starfish Diver Automatic Orange Dial. Except for the bezel it reminds me of the Monster. The specs are:

Stainless steel case and black rubber strap
Orange dial with luminous hands and markers
Day and date at the third hour
Precise 23 jewels self-winding automatic movement
Scratch resistant Hardles crystal
Rotating bezel
Water Resistant to 200m
Screw-down case back and crown, insuring maximum water resistance
Case measures 44mm diameter by 16mm thick

 WATCH OR WEAPON Ninja Style. I guess you would have to take the strap off to throw it at the enemy.

During the nineties, Seiko made a couple of Kinetic divers that were nicknames "starfish" due to their unique star shape bezels.

Today, after more than ten years, Seiko came out with a new diver that has a similar bezel as the original Starfish Kinetic divers. Even though the new diver is powered by the 7S automatic movement and is by no means a reissue, it does look like Seiko has pulled out and reused the design of the Kinetic divers from their design archives.

The new Starfish diver is powered by the 7S36 movement and comes under the Seiko Superior line as indicated by the hangtag that came with it. The watch measures 44mm across (excluding crown) and is 15mm thick. Lug width is 20mm.

The bezel makes 120 clicks per round and its obviously provides a good grip. Despite having a 44mm case diameter, the shape of the bezel creates an illusion that makes the watch look smaller.

i dunno, i wish they made the dial and hands a bit less like a monster, the case and bezel are cool though.

Seiko can't seem to get away from those Monster hands. At least they are getting some good use out of them. Bezel and case on this one are pretty cool and even though the dial harkens to the monster, it's kind of unique in it's own right.

That bezel is unlike anything I have seen before... Still pretty cool though.

Wow. I got my ass HANDED to me and was busy eating Paella.

For the record, the dixie flag double ended jelly dongs are fine. But the vibe is poorly made as they outsourced to china and the motor stops working after you pay the CC bill and the flag peels off when you use lube. I think that's how terry got that rash.....
