Yea. The first B.B. to look good on a regular strap. No gap ImageImage
Is that a fitted end leather though? Maybe that is how they solved it, but that only works with the OEM strap. I would like to see it without a strap or bracelet to see where the lug holes are.

It’s not a fitted strap from what I’ve seen

Non fitted in this photo. there is a little gap which will allow it to fit thicker straps. Doesn't matter to me as I will either go Nato or Bracelet. Looks amazing on both.

Terry, you need a Toxic version of this strap ready for the July release.

Yeah the wait will be torture. For me it’s the GMT. Was told first week of June

I put my money down last week for the 58. Tudor is usually pretty good about their dates.

I have gotten a 15% discount on Tudors from an AD, but right now the ADs I've bought from aren't offering any discount on the 58. I'm on the fence about just jumping in at full retail or waiting for the initial rush to die down and buying one at a discount.

I want one. I'm also cheap. You can always wait the two weeks for everyone on here to flip theirs.

It's so hard for me to justify watches in the $3500 range. For a few thousand more, I could add another five-digit Rolex  Newer watches are definitely more wearable though. My EZ link Daytona is really comfortable and convenient.

I wish! I've been hunting the perfect collection of pre-ceramic Rolex for years... while watching their prices skyrocket. All I need is a
17000 Oysterquartz
14060M
16570 Explorer 2
114720 Explorer

and then I'll finally be done. Any watch I buy that's not on the list just puts me a little farther away. Even so, if the 58 follows the regular BB's depreciation it's going to get bought eventually.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, I guess, my wife counts my watch accumulation in terms of pure numbers, not price. One Daytona seems less objectionable to her than three cheaper watches.

Thos are all iconic watches
Of course Tudor 58 at under 3K from AD is a no-brainer and "inexpensive" enough to wear everwhere

It's true. I'd seriously consider flipping my somewhat too large PO2500 for one. It should be a pretty similar value. I just hate getting rid of stuff I like.

I'm also getting one, but will wait for a preloved one. I will alternate between the bracelet (don't mind the rivets) and natos. Would have preferred a non gilt bezel though.

Every version you might want is likely to come - another reason I'm averse to getting one quick. I want a blue dial/bezel version.

Agree with that.

And don't sell the PO, thanks to the current designers at Omega, it will become a classic.

A classic that's always a little too big. After getting my Daytona, it's hard to wear either my Speedy Pro or the PO. They're both a little large. Strangely the PO is actually pretty comfortable due to the heavy bracelet and large clasp. It stays anchored nicely on my wrist.

Who am I kidding? I'm not getting rid of anything. :banghead:

2500 is a great watch. But Tudor/Rolex 70-hr in-house mov't for that kinda money is a deal of the century.

I never thought I'd buy a Tudor/Rolex anything, but I have to admit that the BB58 has turned my head a little and I've given some thought to flipping my PO2500 to fund one. But I agree that the PO2500 is (or is soon to be) a classic and I may regret that. Especially since I don't think that current used prices really reflect the future value of the PO.

It seems like the PO2500 is the last Omega diver that I would ever think about owning. Every year their stuff gets worse. It would be a radical turnaround for them to introduce something that I would want.

Guys, I'm not suggesting you give up your 2500  I wouldn't mind getting 45mm myself in 2500-D flavor. I'm just saying Tudor 58 is phenomenal for its price.
