IWC Mark XVIII White dial... Or is it Silver?

Now that I proudly own both the White/Silver and Black dial IWC Mk. XVIIIs, I felt obliged to post some shots highlighting the watch, but not so much with it's black-dial brother (#alldialsmatter), but more so against a Dornbluth Silver dial, which could technically pass in a "What's your favorite white dial?" WUSsy thread.
As you can see from the photos the IWC is certainly Silver but so bright head-on that it appears reflective white. The tricks this dial plays in different light is pretty amazing. I had originally thought the Dornbluth Silver was more white but as you can see it's far creamier in color than the IWC
Let me just say everything I said about the Mark XVIII Black stands, but admittedly, the reveal wasn't as awe-inspiring because I've had the Black version for awhile, so the Silver/White fell-in that same category of instant satisfaction because I somewhat knew what I was getting myself into. It's like all this time I've been on the longest new watch honeymoon and my newlywed wife decided to fly-in the maid of honor for some extra flavor!
Now for some crappy phone pics!
