Hello fans
i would like to share with you my review on my uts 3000m diver after 2 years of everyday use.
the watch is very comfortable to wear although it is heavy but i like the heavy feel of it on my wrist.
it has a unique presence.
it hugs my wrist very well specially in the rubber strap.
i like the steel finish of the watch...very industrial looking ..nothing fancy or polished...it is a true tool watch looking.
i have been wearing it for 2 years and the finish is still in a very good shape.
the movement inside is an ETA 2824 but it is very well regulated by Mr Spinner ,the maker of the watch. I had many other watches with same movement but neither reach the level of accuracy of my diver 3000m (touch wood),
nice work done by UTS.
the bezel is the most thing i like about this watch, it has a unique bezel mechanism...it is very very sturdy and will not age or wear by time and you will never face a loosen or weaken clicks after time and that is because the bezel is not using the ordinary spring ratcheting system that clicks depening on the spring under the bezel But it depends on a ceramic ball bearing mechanism consists of a ceramic ball which go through the 60 holes of the indexing ring. And by this mechanism you will never face a wear out clicks by time.
the clicks are the most solid and strong clicks i have ever seen in a watch. Really i love the sound of the clicks.
Another thing i love about this watch is that all parzs of this watch are screwed together. ( the crystal ,the lugs, the bezel, the case back ,the movemet, the crown tube) , there is no any part that is welded or pressed or glued in this watch.
it has many many screws in it.
so it is very easy to dis-assemble this watch and change the worn item.
the crown is big and comfortable and very sturdy while operating with nice threads engaging.
i think this watch i will never flip it.

Nice to see a review that isn't "I opened up the box and it's the bestest thing ever". Hit us up with some pictures and some paragraphs.

How's the crown? Is is wobbly? Does it screw well? How does it compare to the Sinn U1?

This kind of review is great for me, just getting started off on the Automatic watches... To know that a watch that I'm looking at will be good down the road... that the money spent to purchase it won't be a waste, or won't be as worth it after a bit of wear & tear... especially as I'm still learning what brands are good and what brands aren't... Thanks for the long term use review!!

Oddly enough, I got my somewhat regular email newsletter from UTS yesterday and decided to browse Herr Spinner's site. I was surprised to see the 3000m diver, affectionately known as the ghost, on the site - I thought it had been discontinued. Of course, UTS doesn't have a click and buy option - they handle each customer individually, which is really cool. I'm not in the position to buy much of anything right now, but one day, I'd at least like to give the 3000m ghost a try.

Oh, and we're still waiting on those pics. ;)

You can buy one but the price is $4,250. I asked last year.
