He should have used one of your Natos for the test to insure a fish didn't rip it off the line.toxicavenger wrote:That is cool and those spring bars must be made from bigfoot's left over bones.

Nice review. Your pics are better than the stock photos, which make the dial like dull. This looks like a great little budget friendly watch.

Thanks! It's a unique watch for sure and I've enjoyed it the last year. Believe he ran a similar discount when I bought mine.streetracer101 wrote:Nice review. Your pics are better than the stock photos, which make the dial like dull. This looks like a great little budget friendly watch.

Thanks for the great review. I really like the look of this watch.59yukon01 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2017 1:05 pmmatt.wu wrote:Good looking watch!
I think the inner triangle works the same as most internal bezels on dive watches (except the Aquatimer's which remains water resistant without screw down), but I agree with you that it is a very handy feature, and a lot more fun to use than a standard rotating outer bezel.
He explains it better. Accomplishes the same thing as a rotating bezel.
The problem is the bezel doesn't accomplish the same thing as a rotating bezel. The function of the bezel is to quickly tell you what time has elapsed since it was set. This bezel design doesn't do that. You have to manually work out how many minutes have elapsed by subtracting the set time from the current tme. The bezel numerals (or indicies) and the pip are supposed to move in relation to the minute hand - not the pip move in relation to the numerals. By only moving the pip and not the bezel indicies it fails at the core function of an elapsed time bezel. So frustrating.
Micro's just don't seem to be able to do bezels well. They are more concerned with aesthetics and percieved innovation than in getting basic functions right. I expect that comes from making watches designed around appealing to the forum market than focusing on the actual purpose of the watch.
