Tudor Heritage Advisor - Long Hunt Done

Hey there,
Finally after love at first sight posted by andrema on XMT 4 years ago, my long hunt for a Tudor Heritage Advisor is now over. Purchased pre-loved from Crown & Calliber (first time for me), where the buyer experience (communication and responsiveness) could use some improvement. Still the watch w/full kit arrived as promised and I love it.
Unfortunately the supplied black alligator strap (which I was always going to replace), must have been special ordered for someone who's wrist is the size of Olympic Russian cankles, will never fit me. So the Cyber Monday discount savings were quickly lost to some after market Hadley Roma USA Gator from StrappedForTime. A NATO-esque strap comes with the kit but I always wished the Black Bay distressed bomber leather was available as an alternate for the Advisor. Additionally, the Heritage Chrono bracelet will fit the Advisor with the purchase of the proper endlinks - more hunt left for these strap/bracelet options.
I've been dying to get my hands on the Tudor deployment clasp for it's unique design and side window view into the ridged lines underneath. Really cool architectural detail here.
I've never been a fan of multi-function date dials but I'm willing to give the Advisor a pass simply because the overall design is so nice. The power reserve is an "alarm" power reserve charged by winding the 2:00 crown, not a power reserve of the alarm-modified 2892 within. You can watch it dissipate as the alarm sounds. The 8:00 teardrop pusher toggles the alarm on/off. The watch also vibrates as the alarm occurs. A combination of titanium and steel were chosen for the case in order to amplify the alarm resonance. I have yet to test if the Advisor can wake me from a night of single malt scotch, but I doubt it. Oh, the lume is sparingly applied on hands and in small blips on the rehaut side of certain hour markers. Sorry no lume shot here.
Two knobs (uh crowns), and a pusher adorn the case. The formers being signed with etched/filled Tudor Rose and "Advisor". Not crazy about the black filled execution here, and would have preferred raw laser etched Tudor Rose and Shield instead of a word that barely fits the space.
In summary the Advisor is a bit of an odd duck with seemingly low sales. There are a few things that bug me (and perhaps others), like the minute indexes being in the inside ring vs. the outer (alarm indexes). The clasp is more ergonomically efficient if straps are installed opposite of the standard (tang end at 12). Regardless, the Advisor will remain in my collection. The design is substantially evolved from the much smaller/thinner original yet in keeping with the classic elegance of the 1957 version. Perhaps the retention of the dual crowns, cream dial, hour markers, and numeral font with pyramid marker variations at 12, 9, 5, 7, and 3 have a lot to do with this accomplishment.
