I agree with all of this, I don't care for the vintage lume either. I'm not a Rolex guy, so I have to ask what makes these "bottom of the barrel" for Rolex fans? It looks to me like it has it all: 300M, sapphire, quick set, and drilled lugs.

I love the matte dial 16800. Here's mine:

Paging Mr. Craniotes, when Halloween is over, I expect you to post a pic of yours.

I must have missed this thread. That sub looks great and it's my birth year too. Perfect patina.

I've been wanting something like that for far too long (probably not in real time but in my mind)...
Just can't cough up enough dough for something like this..

But one day surely!

Why are you spam posting? Trying to get access to RR and SC? :naughty:

I know, that's what I've been telling Ralfey :fro:

As lilhoody says, the watch is almost too nice to wear, but I don't let that stop me

Well, balls. So new guy Alex is power posting and Hootie has the watch subject of the OP. Is this some sort of parallel dimension stuff? What's going on here?

For as much as I enjoyed and admired that watch, I don't regret trading it. The 1675 still gets more wrist time.

I thought about trading it for your MilgaussGV lol
I understand, it was trying on a 1675 at the trf gtg that made me realize I should get a vintage Rolex, and frankly I didn't care what model it was.

Your 1675 makes me giddy. For all of my semi-irrational love of Subs and Dwellers, I really think the 1675 may be my favorite vintage Rolex sports watch.

That's DWC. I'll sell it back to Matt afterward and make it full circle x 4.

Yeah sorry about that guys, as I've mentioned in another thread, I'm kinda new to forums and was not sure how it worked. Didn't know a post could bring a post to the top of everyone's newsfeed until I downloaded this tapatalk app and figured it out.
Will take care to look at the dates of last posts next time =)

I don't understand the problem bumping a thread; old or new.
