mbakes wrote:Great review! This is a watch that I keep going back and forth on. I have 7" wrists and concerned it is too large. I also do not like watches where there is a large gap between the case and the end of the strap. I see that in a lot of pics of the SAS. Seeing it with the Drew canvas, however, makes that concern go away. I guess I need to give one a try or I will never know.
Thanks.
It does need a substantial strap between the lugs

Any strap made to properly fit a Panerai will work just fine. If you use thin, crappy straps then you will see a gap.

Great write up buddy... can't see that the watch is the biggest you've tried, it seems to wear really nice on your wrist shots... Enjoy it while it lasts hehe

Brice didn't you sell this one? What happened? Curious to hear your thoughts on why you let it go if this is the same SAS.

Watch is great, gotta be one of the best made micros espcially at that price.
It wore a little big/tall and too heavy for my wrist/taste
Another purchase... Had to move one... Loved all my watches so had to sacrifice one so due to point above, the SAS went up FS but nothing against the watch itself.

The box looks solid without the Sea1, i suspect it's changed more than that by now. You always take the best pictures and it helps that You've been intimate with so many watches. You really bring the watches You shot into perspective and They did a fine job on the case and bezel. It's oversized
for me but now i know that. Great review and suuuper picts, Thank You Brice

Brice,
What SEA-01 is this? Is this Classic or Classic II?
I intend to get the SEA-01. Just pondering which Classic to get...

This is a Classic II. The regular Classic has green lume. They are otherwise identical.
