SOMETHING DIFFERENT

This is a beast! It is called the signature 300m TUNA Diver.

The Signature 300m was a custom brand dive watch that the Israeli designer and builder developed and worked on for the past two years. He is a watchmaker and diver, and refers to his dive watches as tools. A tool that needs to work in extreme environments. Thus, the watch is built like a vault. Each opening is secured with sealing gaskets and locked with bolts.

All the watches are assembled and tested with specialized tools and equipment in Israel (only six made).

Main features are:

- 3mm thick anti-scratch sapphire crystal pressed and locked in place by screws
- The crystal is safeguarded, positioned 5mm lower, beneath the bezel
- Rotating unidirectional bezel shielded by an additional side bezel fastened to the watch case
- Screw-in- Crown sealed with triple O-ring gaskets and protected by two shoulders
- Reliable Swiss Made Ronda 517 Day-Date quartz movement
- Shock resistant case made of strong and thick (yet light) anodized 6061 Aluminum alloy
- Dive kit with velcro straps that holds watch, straps, and paperwork
- Pressure tested to 300m

SPECS:

Diameter: 49mm (excluding crown)
Thickness: 17mm
Lug Size: 24mm

MY IMPRESSIONS:

Purchased because I am a collector and a diver. However, it does not compare in any way, shape or form to the DARTH VADER. I own three 300m tunas, a gold accented 600m and 1000m darth vader, and 1000m darth vader without the gold accents.

I bought it because it is unique - only six were made. Like my cars -BMW MINI, Z4 AND Z3 ROADSTERS - this watch like my autos puts a smile on most everyone since it is not for everyone but does get looks and a lot of attention. In addition, my spouse of fifty years (only one made) is still beautiful and gets justs as many looks from those 20 year olds.

Definitely a different looking watch from the typical. I have never been a big fan of this Seiko. Thanks for sharing and good read.
