Hot or Not....2011 CTS Coupe
I have been browsing around, since it does not appear SAAB will continue to be my car of choice.
This has caught my eye, and it will come with a manual 6 speed with I prefer and is increasingly hard to find. The regular CTS is probably more practical, but since we can always use my wifes RAV4 for kid movement, I'm wondering if I couldn't live with one more coupe in my life?
So what do you guys think about the looks. I am liking based on what I am seeing out there. I am picturing one in black or possibly Red if caddy offer a "good" red.

Really like the CTS---the price on Caddies really jumps
when you start to add options...
Would buy an AWD CTS in a heartbeat but not 8-10K better than
a BMW or Audi, Infiniti or Acura...

Wow, didn't realize the pricing was that different, I was just looking at some specs and lease deals....jimyritz wrote:Really like the CTS---the price on Caddies really jumps

Maybe I will just buy my Turbo X when the lease is up.

+1 on the pricing situation with Cadillac though. They are proud of their American made cars aren't they?

Wait a minute Steve, just days ago you were trying to get me to buy a SAAB, suddenly you're a rat jumping from your own ship!?!?
BTW, the Caddie looks sharp. The last Consumer Reports rated luxury sedans and rated the Caddie CTS Sedan pretty high, I will hunt for the issue. Caddie is the one division at GM which has improved their product the most in my opinion...of course, they also had more ground to make up than some of those other divisions.
If anyone is looking for a small economical car, the Chevy Cobalt seems to be a great car. I just drove one for the past two weeks and was quite pleased.

Well thanks to GM's wonderful guidance, it looks like... barring a miracle, SAAB will not be an option again when my lease is up.hazmatman wrote:Wait a minute Steve, just days ago you were trying to get me to buy a SAAB, suddenly you're a rat jumping from your own ship!?!?
<snip>....
SAAB's and U1's hold the same lofty lust factor for me. Not everyone likes them, but man they flip my switch.
Thanks for the comments guys.

The coupe is sweet, was supposed to come out in late '09, im glad its coming out at all.
Did the door panels on that car, there is no interior door handle to open it, just a push button that pops the door open. pretty schnazzy.
I love the design and sharp edges.
