I like everything I’ve seen so far.
Not here.

Looks like the spare wheel bracket is sized against the bumper for the stock tyres. First thing anyone will do who wants to use this off-road is upgrade the tyre size to improve clearance for that diff pumpkin...you won't be able to without modifying the bumper or the bracket assembly and the additional expense that will incur.

Damn that's dumb.

That looks like a pretty substantial tire in that photo. Perhaps they left enough room for commonly used upsized tires.

34" or 35" tires is what I'm reading.

I've read 35's. The JLUR comes with 33" tires, can run 35's stock, but needs a mod to fit a 35" spare. I think 35's are sufficient for 90+% of owners. My guess is this is the most heavily upgraded model.

At any hand, if this is as popular as it seems, brands like Poison Spyder will be pumping out rear bumpers for under $800 in short order.

I bet aftermarket bumpers are already in production.

Not sure 35s on an IFS vehicle is a great idea. Need to carry several spare control arms/CV joints for harder off-road use

The vast majority of these, like Wranglers, Raptors, 4Runners, RAM Powerwagons and AEV Prospectors will never even see gravel. For all but the few who actually use them, the stock setup will probably be overkill.

Tell me it’ll be flat towable behind an RV and I might pick up a used one in a few years if they prove dependable.

Dependable from Ford is the key as I have been a Honda and Toyota owner for almost 30 years.

Unfortunately, with few exceptions Honda and Toyota gave checked out of all the “exciting and fun” market segments. Ford and Jeep are the only games in town if you want something like this.

This is so true. There used to be something special about a body-on-frame Toyota. Especially the Land Cruisers. But now they are so boring. And we own one of these, in Lexus GX460 form. Immensely capable and refined. But so boring.

When my Tacoma finally dies I’ll look into one of these Broncos. That likely means maybe around 2035 or so....

Trying to talk my wife into a modest lift, AT tires, and doing something with the lame running boards (not a straightforward mod on this car, as opposed to my old LC100).

Agreed, 100 was easier to mod, I had 470 with AHC so I never bothered with suspension but the rest was easy bolt-on.
