2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Mine is a Grand Cherokee (WK2) and it’s been flawless over 37k miles. I absolutely love driving it and the Pentastar V6 is lively and fun. I was fortunate to get mine when the MaxCare Lifetime Warranty was still available, so I’ve got bumper-to-bumper coverage as long as I own it.
My next one will be either the next 4Runner or the Bronco, should it prove reliable, but the Jeep isn’t going anywhere.

I've been watching the Bronco progress for a while now. I'll be watching the unveiling on the 13th, and plan to put down the deposit to hold my spot.

Wow, you’re braver than me! I really like the looks but I’d have to see some reviews and at least a year on the road before I pay new prices.jswing wrote:I've been watching the Bronco progress for a while now. I love the looks of jeeps, and my wife Was set on a 4 door wrangler in the future. That changed when I read up on the reviews and reliability issues.
I still have my 2003 4Runner and I drive it a few days a week. Plan on keeping it for my son when he turns 16. 7 more years to go!

Well, the deposit is only $100 and it's fully refundable. I drive a Ranger now, and the Bronco is built on the same platform with the same drivetrain, so I'm pretty sure I'll like it. If not I just won't buy it. The deposit basically just buys a place in line, it doesn't really commit me to buying it.BBK357 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 6:38 amWow, you’re braver than me! I imagine dealers will be selling them with a market adjustment of +5-10K in the beginningjswing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 6:52 amWell, the deposit is only $100 and it's fully refundable. I'm sure some will try, some dealers are marking up the electric Mustang SUV thing. I'd only pay X-plan discounted price, assuming the Bronco isn't excluded, which it shouldn't be since it's not limited production.Panerai7 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 7:27 amI imagine dealers will be selling them with a market adjustment of +5-10K in the beginningjswing wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 6:52 amWell, the deposit is only $100 and it's fully refundable. The dealer in my area has put it in writing and guarantees that he won’t charge a cent over MSRP.
Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
They ruined the blazer name with that thing. They had a great opportunity to bring it back, and they completely screwed the pooch on it. We had the 2 door version of it back in the 80'stoxicavenger wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 6:41 ami hope this car does turn out looking like that blazer turd

I like everything I’ve seen so far.TSD wrote:

if this is what it looks like I like it a lot. I dig that the sides look more European like Defender/Gellen than Wrangler, the wheels/tires are obviously from a stripper model
Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
I'd definitely consider it if that roof comes off (which is what I think I'm seeing in the vehicle in the background).
There is just something uniquely cool about a convertible 4X4, whether it be an old Defender, Bronco, 4Runner, or Scout.
I hope the hardtop is kind of like the Jeep's, where panels can be removed independently. Those old hardtops, even on a relatively small vehicle like a 2 door Wrangler, were a bear to remove and store.

4 door wranglers and rubicons were going for premiums when they were introduced in 2007/8.
That pic looks pretty good.
But I want soft tops! Removable hard tops are a bitch.
Yes. Very defender-ish.

Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had

That backend pic looks great.
I love 4Runners but this may be on my list way down the road from now.

It keeps looking better and better maybe in a few years. My Xterra is still running strong and the no car payment is so nice.

I want a Gladiator but would never buy one. But man they look great. We'll stick to our boring Lexus GX.
This new Bronco looks extremely promising. Love the boxy Defender-ish shape I’m seeing.

One more shot, this is supposed to be the actual vehicle caught testing in AZ.
