The Dive Watch Connection

Not sure if everyone has had a chance to get a look at this new movie yet.

Hoped race, and just car fans might enjoy. It is based on the true story
of Carrol Shelby, and Ken Miles working together to build, and race a new
race car for Ford against Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

It Looks like a Cool flick, but the two minute trailer showed the entire f#cking movie...

Can't wait for this. The documentary is great, too.

There’s something special about the GT40. Pure raw awesomeness.

Saw this recently.

Looks pretty good right guys?!! Not sure if it will live up to that cool
book, or documentary, but it's terrific to just see them making a movie
about this honestly. Have kind of known about the story, but really don't
know all of the details. Other than knowing about how great Carrol Shelby,
and the GT40 were, or are.

I love GT40's, but always found it funny how this story is always framed as if Ford was this huge underdog. In the early 60's, Ferrari was a small racing team pumping out like 300 road cars annually. Ford was the 2nd largest car company in the world with huge resources.

Definitely look forward to the movie though...

Movie looks fun. As much as I love the tune, Gimme Shelter has to be one of the most overused "hey, it's the 1960's" songs in the movies. Hopefully it's only for the trailer.

Looks like it could be a cool movie. Not entirely sure about the casting, though. Matt Damon and Christian Bale?
