Saw this in the park across the street from me. Not sure what year; according to the web site, "Lovingly restored and cared for, our 1971 VW Transporter..." and "The Photo Bus Boston is a 1973 VW Transporter!"

Spotted at the Charlestown Marina. There's almost always something cool parked there.

Chatted with these people yesterday, they shipped their Man from Belgium to Halifax, and to date had driven across Canada to Vancouver. They were headed down through the USA, Mexico, Panama...ending up in Argentina.

The truck was custom built and weighed 11T. It is 4x4, has a 530L diesel capacity, 450L fresh water, full solar and can be self sufficient for 10 days. Price tag 350k usd.

So cool!

They're beautiful, but I'm still shocked that they have BWM underpinnings.

Ferrari 575M Maranello (I think) in the office parking garage. Nice to see that's it's driven.

It kind of flies under the radar with the black paint job. A casual observer might mistake it for a Corvette.

Are the wheels aftermarket? They have Ferrari center caps, but that doesn't mean they're Ferrari wheels. They appear to be a two-piece design.

It seems like all of the local cars you post are rust-free. Do they not use salt on the roads in Colorado Springs?

No. The use some different mix that does cause some surface contamination but not much.

Have a few more months to decide whether or not I’ll be keeping it.
