"Avengers Engame". Somebody Explain It To Me . . .

OK, I'm gonna show my age here but . . . can somebody explain to me what the big effing deal is?

It's a freaking Superhero movie, right? Just like the last 500 Superhero/Marvel Comics/Justice League/Guardians movies that have come out in the last 10 years.

I didn't see any of them either.

And now it's playing on every friggin' screen at my local Multiplex.

I don't get it. Now get off my lawn.

To many that follow these types of movies, there is almost a cult like appreciation, especially for the diehard Marvel/Lee peeps out there. And there's a lot of them out there.

ii'll be 50 in 4 weeks. i was never into MCU/superhero movies until my son got into them and it's been great watching them with him. they're not high art, just a whole lot of fun. my girlfriend and i are catching a 6pm showing tonight (she might be more excited than i am) and i'm taking my boy saturday afternoon.

If you're into super hero movies, it's a big deal. If not, it's not. My wife doesn't get all the hullaballoo about Game of Thrones - she's just not into it.

It’s rare that any studio can even think about a 22 movie arc over 10 years in the making, let alone pull it off like Marvel has done here. It’s an amazing accomplishment and they have done a fantastic job. Estimate’s are they May pull in almost a billion dollars this weekend alone globally

Amazing movie

If you are a Marvel fanboy, go see this movie ASAP. Such a great end to 22 movies. Well done Marvel, well done

I'm more of a casual fan but thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was very well done with plenty of surprises. I'm excited to take my son tomorrow and I rarely if ever do another theater visit to see a movie I've seen already

Saw it yesterday and it's a great movie... They did justice to the previous films. Great ending... My son was super excited. So good it doesn't feel it's 3 hours. Now, if you haven't seen the other movies, you can pass this one too (also you suck for not seeing them ).

Taste is taste. I personally like the Marvel movies a lot, however one can only decide for himself once he watch them. If I was to suggest to a new person I would suggest to watch the first Captain America and the first Thor movies. They are simple and they give a flavor of what they are.

I was never into them but started seeing them with my son and looking forward to endgame...

BTW- just saw Aquaman and really enjoyed it.. to each is own..

I like them. I wasn’t into comics so I don’t know some of the background. Kind of a thing for me and my youngest , who is now 17, and he helps explain stuff to me.

I thought black panther sucked, but all of the avengers and x-men movies were good
