i loved Kiss so much as a teen that I even saw their movie. hell I think I saw their cartoons. i have to say the few times i saw Gene Simmons on reality tv once or twice it was a disappointment.

they were a glamour band for me. but I like the energy they had

I like most of the stuff on Creatures of the Night and a few others here and there, but I was never a huge fan. The make up was a turn off for me, but the look was a lot better than the Twisted Sister approach. In general, Gene’s songs are more my style than Paul’s.

This is the second I believe. Still better than The Rolling Stones, they’ve been doing their farewell tour since 1980.

Peter and Ace were never announced to take part in this. Hell i even saw Paul interviewed saying that he sees KISS going fwd without him and Gene. He literally sees it as a brand and they people behind the masks can change and go forward/

Kiss was my first rock concert when I was 14 years old. I remember everything about that night. Krokus opened for them. Someone was shooting bottle rockets into the rafters during intermission and caught the building on fire. The place was evacuated after an employee that went into the rafters to check on the smoke fell to his death on the stage. After about an hour, they reopened the doors to a general admission concert and let 12k people in at one time. I’m surprised no one else died. I found a seat between a guy with the biggest bag of weed I had ever seen and another guy with his face painted like Gene that liked to step into the aisle and breath fire between songs. Kiss rocked and gave me a night to remember. I have seen them three other times since then.
