New car day tomorrow.
New car day tomorrow.
Well after nearly 20 years of Porsche ownership, I'm going back to Lotus tomorrow with this Exige Sport 380
It's a 2017 Sport 380 with only 1700 miles on the clock.
My old friend is up for sale

I'll miss the GT3, but nearly 13 years is long enough.

Re: New car day tomorrow.
I've wanted an Exige since they first came to the US in 2006. Drove an Exige S in 2007 and was close to pulling the trigger, but at 6'4" tall it was not a great fit. I decided that a 911 was the better, if somewhat less interesting, choice. I still keep telling myself that I'll own an Exige one day...
Huge congrats on the Sport 380.

Andrew, that might be the first time I’ve heard someone call a 911 less interesting

Am I the only one who is sad that there is a GT3 being replaced by something newer and sexier?

Re: New car day tomorrow.
Very cool and congrats!! Years ago, I took an Exige for a rip and it was like driving a go kart! I think I would choose the Porsche for a DD but the Lotus should be a blast!

6'5" here and feel your pain. One reason I'm still driving my E46 M3 - BMW seems to build cars for taller drivers....logan2z wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 7:33 amI've wanted an Exige since they first came to the US in 2006. Jeremy Clarkson didn't have an easy time getting out of it either when he reviewed the Exige S several years ago...djh1201 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 11:02 am6'5" here and feel your pain. Re: New car day tomorrow.
Very cool cars. However, with the new strain of stupid on the road nowadays I'd be very reluctant to invest that kind of money into a car.

there's no fun to be had on public roads, this car is for non-public tarmac
