No, not at all.
And I’m still waiting for his info so I can square the costs, and this comes up. So, I’m as interested as you are in how this took a turn.

Sounds like someone is not getting his PM’s. Could this be a Tapatalk issue? I always get my PM’s on the website and Tapatalk.

I still need it, please sort it out for me.
PM me your PP and I’ll send $ and info.
Thanks.
On it. I'll get back to you.
So: ^this.
And then today, after no contact at all and you still not sending me any info, you post the “Graham fucked me” update.
I’ll play along.

You asked me to buy the book. I said I'd get in to it, and I did. I was going to get back to you when the book arrived. If you were in any way confused or concerned you could have asked for an update.
Instead you say don't bother cos you are going to source it elsewhere. I tell you its already on the way and you pulling out means I am stuck with regifting it. I was pissed but stayed civil thinking you would realise the position you put me in and do the right thing.
You asked me to do you a solid and when I did you left me hanging. That's a dick move.
Regardless, the book is headed to Ireland.

Wow. Normally I wouldn’t get involved but since it was brought public...
Carl, we seen the pms. He told you he found it elsewhere and you were all cool with it and said you would keep it for yourself. I’m guessing Matt didn’t get a PM or missed one, but I doubt Matt would fuck you on a $20 book.
Kinda ridiculous this was brought public.
You two kiss and make up.

This is too weird. Matt wouldn’t purposely bone you over a stupid book. I ordered the book through Amazon.ca but it’s coming from India (I think). Matt mentioned that he had also asked you to order the book from Australia and that he would just cover both.
I think this is simply a miscommunication...books are stupid.

I don’t want to turn this thread into one big argument, but hold on Dave, I disagree with you about books being stupid.

Nope, not at all.
I’m saying dinosaurs didn’t read and they all died. So, while it may not be the only factor in their extinction, I can make sure it’s not one in mine.
Imma gonna survive on this flat earth forevs. And by forevs I mean until I die from the myriad of things that can kill me each day.

That’s some BS anti-dinosaur propaganda right there.

My wife is an English/Language Arts teacher (I have no idea what that means but I know it has a great salary and benefits) and I gave her that shirt for casual Friday’s.

I'm actually looking for a book about the valjoux 7753 reworked by Hamilton requiring a poker tool to set the date. Seems the book is only available in Australia, can anyone help me?

Something tells me the book isn't going to help. From the link I posted earlier:
Mechanically you can differentiate between the two movements based on the setting of the date. The 7750 date sets by the crown, the 7753 set from a 3rd pusher

I need the book. Gets into more detail on the recessed pusher.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you probably saw the inside of a lot of lockers in high school.
