I think radar detectors are good in certain states. When I was in Texas I would have loved to have had one. Here in Colorado Waze is the best option. I actually used Waze on our last trip down to Texas/Louisiana and it worked perfect. Not to mention if there wasn't a mention of a cop on waze my co-pilot updated it with the correct info.

Car Alarms?
Adding a shock sensor and remote start to the OE system would come out to the same price as a $100-$130 alarm system with those features included. With the OE system, however, I don’t have a 2 way remote and I keep the stock horn
