Is this a good single player game? I hate that all the games I used to like are mostly online multiplayer now.
Same here from the Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake days. Single player is my favorite

Doom was the only game that made me shart when paying it at night in a dark ass room. :crybaby: :crybaby:

I like Wolfenstein a little bit also. Red Dead and Fall Out was my favorite by far. I did pick one up for stupid cheap and I actually liked it, it was called Thief. I got hooked on it after I completed the Tom Clancy games.

I've still got a PS3 (not a lot of time for gaming these days so haven't upgraded) and always wanted to try this title - is it still worth picking up the original game and giving it a run? Looks like it came out quite a few years ago now...

Definitely worth playing the first, but RD2 is a prequel so the first isn’t required to enjoy/ understand the second.
 thanks.

I really wanted to like the first one, but couldn't get into it. This will probably be a skip for me.

I have CANstruction build out tonight. I’m tempted to stop by the house on the way and start downloading the updates so I can play when I get home.

PC players can stream-play RDR1 downloading PlayStation now and buying a subscription. You need a compatible PS4 remote. (Max resolution is 720p) :/

I tried the free week trial to finally play the last of us and RDR1. Graphics for red dead are pretty dated. Couldn’t get into it really. That and I really hate having to use a joystick to look around.

I loved the first one - It was the last game I played all the way through.

I have not played many games in the last few years. I used to like playing online - COD type games - but was playing so infrequently that when I did play I just got my ass kicked. My 9 yo son has taken over the PS4 and projector now and plays a bunch fortnight and COD.

I think I'm going to pick up the new one and see if I can find some time to play after the kids are asleep.

Yep. I was awesome at call of duty about 5-10 years ago. Now the kids and adults with no job make it a frustrating experience when it takes 10 deaths to get 1 kill.

Exactly. It takes all the fun out of it. I have limited time to play, so a good story mode is all I need/want.

I barely have time to take a piss much less play video games. Although, many days my life is a fucking video game. A cross between Crazy Climber, Frogger and Centipede.

I don't know the game, but if you have it you'd probably enjoy last week's South Park. (Which was mostly Red Dead related)

I need to play this more. Just haven't had much time with work. I'll try to get a bit of time in tomorrow on it. It's very good.

I’m jelly! I’m too busy to find time for video games.
I tell my kids that I used to be hardcore 2D player especially the shooters. They just don’t believe me, lol.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

We got it a a few weeks ago and we’ve played some. My son was doing some deer hunting and we haven’t played much since. Can’t wait to have time to get into it. I have 6 days off in a few weeks and I’ll pay it some more.

Same here. Been busy with work, freelance stuff, and getting ready for thanksgiving week. Now wishing I’d brought my ps4 to Sandbridge this week.
