It's must be a coincidence that the Dave Maraj (Owner of Champion Porsche) died in a boating "accident" in July 2018.

there's a 85-page (and growing) thread about this on rennlist that should top 100,000 views just shy of a week :excited:

Did they recover him or is he “missing” at sea?

Scumbag Dealer wrote:The most damning piece of evidence that the dealership knew Sookralli was at least capable of something like this comes from another lawsuit filed against both parties by a second dealer earlier this year. Back in the summer of 2016, M & L Luxury Cars entered into agreements to buy two $500,000 Porsche 911Rs, one directly from Champion through Sookralli and the second from an entity called Rampage Motors Inc.—another one of Sookralli's shells.

The first car was never delivered, resulting in a protracted back-and-forth over the state of the $350,000 deposit. The second was delivered but at a $350,000 markup
I'm sure this is incredibly common, not only with ultra lux cars but also all the stupid forum grey dealers. Yes, I'm looking at you Rolex and Patek. I can't understand the psyche of a person who's willing to roll in the dirt with scumbags like this in order to buy useless shit like watches and cars. Gross. BIGLY.

I was going to say, if you bilk me out of a couple hundred grand for a 5th or 6th car I’m buying it’s probably a little bit of my fault for lacking attention to detail, but if you’re WATERING DOWN MY LIQUOR we’re gonna fight.

Though I don’t think I’ve ever had a glass of Hennessy, either one of them.

He did more than that. He would switch parts on customers cars also. They would show up and there wheels were on someone else ride. Hell he even use to borrow customers cars for months at a time to jut to drive them. He was a real winner. He use to go on tirades on forums if you mentioned his name.

Crazy. But hanging around the periphery of the P car world for the last few months, I realize that the insane desire for some of these really rich guys to own GTx models knows no limits.

So, the moral of the story is to avoid deposits and preorders? What about Yao?

Different level of quality with MkII... You wouldn’t understand.

What makes people think they’re going to get away with this?
