Carbs & Coffee - Car Meet Photos

Post by JDC222 » Sun May 20, 2018 3:30 pm

My buddy puts on a Carbs & Coffee meet, every couple of months on a Sunday morning. This morning, it was in the parking lot of Mt. Seymour and was socked-in with fog!
All cars are welcome, coffee and pastries are provided.

Some of the cool rides:

Thanks for sharing the great photos. Brother in law is in town and if I’d know about he show would have come on up. He’s a total car guy and has a couple dealerships in the Midwest

Carbs & Coffee is just a nice little Sunday morning get together, for 2 hours. Here is the one that you want to see! Geoff organizes this one too...

That blue stingray.... wow total grail. We have a hot rod dealership near me called Mershons, used to go there as a kid just to look. They always had mult Stingrays and other classic corvettes. Story was the guy used the cars to cover up his cocaine trafficking in the early 80’s. The shop is still there today.

I'm not sure if it's a CB Performance...it's got some good pull though! Mine is a 2021cc, with a Freeway Flyer transmission...

Nice! So what kind of carbs do you have on it? I wanted to run a stock single port 1600 with a turbo. I have a friend who has been running this setup for 10 years with great performance and reliability.

Dual Weber's with velocity stacks...there's so many tweaks for VW engines...pretty basic and inexpensive, for the most part!

Looking at these photos makes me think back to the cars some of my friends had (and beat on) in high school. I had a buddy with a 914, a number of guys had beetles, plus the mix of late '60's muscle such as Camaros, Chargers, and a GTO.

If we had only known what those cars would be worth today....
