Remember, I said he had it tuned. He mentioned his mpg increased after that.
Even tuned would be 30 tops. But that’s still good.
You need the right tires for weather/snow.
I was very unimpressed with my Subaru Impreza in the snow. I was running standard tires.
I always wanted a WRX. I test drove one when I was 21 and got my first decent job. The salesman asked me if I checked with my insurance yet, I said no. I called them for a quote. The monthly insurance payment was about the same as the car payment. But I was young with a record. I was told they are one of the most expensive cars to insure... save your exotics and luxury cars.
