Sadly, that’s gonna be the solution.
That’s the way to do it.matt.wu wrote:While I like and am relatively proficient at Oly lifting, during the week, I'm mostly traditional bench/squat/deadlift on a power rack in the garage. Same rack allows me to do pullups, bent-over rows, overhead press, etc..., so I basically don't need to go to the gym anymore.
Great setup!! If I didn’t enjoy the social aspect and motivation of a CrossFit gym so much I’d put together what I need in my garage.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 12:08 pmThis is our garage setup. 3/4” rubber flooring so you don’t have to worry about dropping the bar. We’ve got about 300 lbs. of bumper plates, so we can do just about anything. My wife uses it a lot. She can probably strict press more than most of the men here.
That’s just for accessory work and days we can’t make it to the gym.R@cerx wrote:Great setup!! i love the set up. Best part: if you shit your pants doing true vertical squats, the washer/dryer is right there. Well thought-out.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 12:08 pmThis is our garage setup. 3/4” rubber flooring so you don’t have to worry about dropping the bar.
