Pulled the trigger on the new Denali on Friday. After getting my wife a Yukon a couple weeks ago I realize how much I love GMC. Decided to move on from my f-150 and get a GMC myself. Had a Yukon years ago and never had an issue. I actually test drove the truck and didn’t feel it was “me” design wise but then saw one at the dealership with different wheels suspension, etc and I was sold.
So it’s stock today but getting a bunch of crap done to it hopefully next week.
Highly recommend any truck buyers giving this one a look. It’s the next highest horsepower to the raptor for a half ton truck and I ain’t payin the raptor premium the dealers are charging because it’s just plain dumb.

That’s very nice. Did you get the special Denali pricing they offered last week? I was tempted to pick up a Yukon for the Wife.

Not sure really. I have a contact at gmc who worked numbers that seemed really good.
If you want, connect with me on PM and if there’s a way to get numbers from my guy that helps you I’d be happy to. Bought two cars from him in a month so I think he’d be happy to do what he can. And, his dad owns the dealership so I don’t get jacked around.

Great looking truck. My lease is up in September. My last 4 cars have been Accords, while great, it's time to move on - a truck is on the short list

That's awesome.
I'd love to own something like that, but the UK just isn't set up for vehicles that size, you'd never find a parking spot large enough!

Hardest part is waiting for the lease to mature. Last lesse I broke the lease early and it just wasn't worth it

Man, if I hadn't just gotten that old W463... If someone wanted an SUV, I'd say hunt down one of the last TDI Touaregs. EPA just released VW to unload the 2014-15's they've been sitting on, and you get 25% off a '14 and 20% off a '15, which would be a damn easy way to roll out of a lease and into a new one.

My only concern about buying one of those is you are probably getting the reprogrammed ECU. I'd really want to drive one of those a bit to see how they accelerated and passed on the highway.

How long are your leases? Didn't you just get a new one?

I wonder what APR could do about that.

That's what I thought, but apparently it might've been as simple as dialing up higher AdBlue consumption. Wouldn't even dent torque output on that motor. It would be interesting to see how they lease these, especially if a shitty residual and all that profit discount would get into a super reasonable monthly payment.

Standard lease is 36 months. Feels like I just got it, that was 2 years ago

I really like the Raptor, but no rebates or discounts allowed and while the engine is great, I don’t like the V6 sound. I like the look of the new GMCs but I’m just not a GM fan these days. Right now I have a 2017 F150 5.0 V8 XLT FX4.

That's a great truck, Heath. Should serve you well for years to come.

You ain't lying. I've barely driven it too. Was issued a company car about 4 months into my lease. It's become my weekend car and man do I enjoy it when I take it out.

Nice truck! Friend of mine also has the Denali. I'm a big GMC fan. I've put over 200K miles on my Yukon and it still runs as good as the day I bought it new. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

The one they had here was a custom one the dealership had done so it have 31" tires on it also. It wasn't bad looking honestly.
