Nice car! We should enjoy those V-8s while we still can.
I totally agree, that is why I said it had to be a V-8.

Congrats T. Nice looking car. I had no idea that Hyundai was producing stuff like this.
I think they brought out this model to go against the Mercedes S500. But I might be wrong on that. The Genesis I think first came out in 09'. The newer version is super nice. But I can't pay new prices for anything.

I drove it to yesterdays GTG. It was a blast. It was pulling still at 100 mph.
And you didn’t say a word!
I think you were taking pics. I told the guys at the table but most of them tuned in one Igor started talking about his NSX.

Definitely a congrats, T-bird. A personal favorite of mine.

I drove a 2016 3.8 rental last year for a week and while not as fun as the V8, I'm sure, it was still fun to drive and looked great. I've been seriously considering one of these when my lease expires next year
Ralph, I have been looking at these cars for 4 years, I finally got one. Super impressed with it every time I get to drive it.

I figured you would, Terry, but I'm not certain you can get one of those at a car dealership.

Nice looking car! Try not to get into too much trouble with it!
They actually had a dark gray but it wasn't a V-8 and it didn't have the R-Spec package. Oh and it was 7k more since it was an 2015 model.

Honestly I have lived in Colorado since 02' and I have only owned AWD vehicles for a total of 3 years here. Most of them have always been front wheel drive. The key is aggressive winter tires. So I will do the same with this car.

I haven't had time to takes pics of it during the day yet (since daylight savings time) but here is a few I took tonight. I have to say the only thing I would change about the car is a sport exhaust. But then it would probably have some highway drone to it. So I might do something at a later date to it but not right now. This thing has a ton of leg room in the back and the front. Not to mention the trunk is crazy huge (dead hookers maybe???).

Assume you will be picking up snow tires for this? Otherwise RWD high power sedan + Colorado sounds like fun.

So far 19-28 it seems. But this car likes to move, it doesn't want to be driven lightly.

If you want to change the exhaust, check out Borla. I have a catback system on my V6 Accord and it sounds really nice, no drone on the highway. Close to a G35 sound.
