Nice, what model?

Thanks all! 2018 M3. Went in to look at the M4 (again) and they finally had an M3 available. Both white. For me it was an easy decision with 2 kids. The backseat area is slightly bigger, has windows they can roll down, and has a middle seat. The M4 will only fit two (no middle seat belt). I also liked the driving position on the M3 better.

It has the cloth and leather seats which at first was a no go. Love the "sports cloth" now - sales manager said more people are ordering them this way. Wife liked it better as well.

All in all, I grin every time I start it up. Can't wait until I can really let her rip. I don't name cars but my 11 year old son said I should name it after a teenage celebrity crush. So, she's Elle. :)

I forgot that the M3 is now a four door and the M4 is the two door. The sport cloth seats are nice from what I hear.

I have a deposit down to have right of first refusal on the new accord. Waiting for my dealership to start getting them in now that they're in production and waiting impatiently.

I've only driven Accords since HS. Owned a 2002 and have leased a 2010, 2013, and currently a 2015 with the lease being up next year

Sadly, the '15 might be my last.

With the elimination of the V6 I just can't get on board with the Accord. Also, the new body lines with the sloping rear are reminiscent of the new Civic body which IMO is too close to a hatch back.

I'm hoping it looks better in person but even still, just not a fan of the 4 banger - turbo or not

You can thank CAFE for that. I'm getting sick of bureaucrats dictating automobile design. They'll keep raising the bar 'til it's all but impossible to design a car with an ICE that will pass muster.

Same reason I bought my F-150. The twin turbo V6s perform well but I prefer the simplicity of the 5.0 V8 and before long I fear the V8 will be gone and only available in the F-250 and up.

I recently saw a video where different mechanics were interviewed and asked if they preferred the 3.6l twin turbo or the 5.0 coyote engine. Something like 7 or 8 out of the 10 chose the 5.0 simply because there is "less stuff to break and repair"

I know there are several former V6 Accord owners who aren't thrilled with the 2 liter. The 2 liter turbo in the accord puts out around 250 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque. It's expected to perform on par with the outgoing naturally aspirated V6 but it'll be more efficient. For me it will still be a step up from my 4 cylinder 2005 accord, which I think has 160 hp.

Ill be interested to hear your feedback. I literally was 1 day away from buying one last October and at last minute opted for Volvo XC60....The alfa was a blast to test drive! And drop dead gorgeous looking.

I would never buy one but with the new brand, warranty, and family discount, I couldn't say no to it. Hell, I leased it for less than an explorer...by over $100/mo.

It is an absolute blast to drive, 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, nimble, and a nice 2.0T under the hood!

When I opened this thread it landed on this post. Not sure if you’ve heard, but that 2.0t is basically a de-tuned version of the Type R engine. The aftermarket has already come up with an ECU re-flash that is fully reversible and gives a healthy jump in both HP & TQ. I’ve considered a Touring 2.0t and that flash upgrade, but I don’t want to be without a Subaru because I enjoy being a lesbian. (I was made an honorary lesbian by some LGBT friends, in part because of my vehicle). Don’t hate.

This is the Sport level trim. They have three levels, base, sport, and Ti, which comes in Lusso and Ti sport, I believe. It has the additional sport package with the 5 hole wheels, red brake calipers, and some other things. The only options I didn't get with it were adaptive cruise control and lane departure. I'll try to post more pics when it's nice out but first impressions are great.

Had heard that, Hop. I’ll test drive one sooner or later for shits and gigs but I don’t know man, just not a fan of turbo 4s in any configuration. If anything, what will keep me away more than the engine is the looks :puke:

Thanks everyone. I can't say enough about the car in the honeymoon stages. It was a tough decision going from a full size truck but this is more fun and practical for everyday use. Alfa has put a ton of money into the factory where these come from in order to break the old stigma. We'll see how it holds up over the lease! Only thing left is to tiny the front windows and then drive the hell out of it!
