Picked this up last night. Sad to see the Ram go but it's time for something easier to drive in the city. ImageImage

Ill be interested to hear your feedback. I literally was 1 day away from buying one last October and at last minute opted for Volvo XC60....The alfa was a blast to test drive! And drop dead gorgeous looking.

I would never buy one but with the new brand, warranty, and family discount, I couldn't say no to it. Hell, I leased it for less than an explorer...by over $100/mo.

It is an absolute blast to drive, 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, nimble, and a nice 2.0T under the hood!

That looks great. Which trim is it?

I've only driven Accords since HS. Owned a 2002 and have leased a 2010, 2013, and currently a 2015 with the lease being up next year

Sadly, the '15 might be my last.

With the elimination of the V6 I just can't get on board with the Accord. Also, the new body lines with the sloping rear are reminiscent of the new Civic body which IMO is too close to a hatch back.

I'm hoping it looks better in person but even still, just not a fan of the 4 banger - turbo or not

When I opened this thread it landed on this post. Not sure if you’ve heard, but that 2.0t is basically a de-tuned version of the Type R engine. The aftermarket has already come up with an ECU re-flash that is fully reversible and gives a healthy jump in both HP & TQ. I’ve considered a Touring 2.0t and that flash upgrade, but I don’t want to be without a Subaru because I enjoy being a lesbian. (I was made an honorary lesbian by some LGBT friends, in part because of my vehicle). Don’t hate.

This is the Sport level trim. They have three levels, base, sport, and Ti, which comes in Lusso and Ti sport, I believe. It has the additional sport package with the 5 hole wheels, red brake calipers, and some other things. The only options I didn't get with it were adaptive cruise control and lane departure. I'll try to post more pics when it's nice out but first impressions are great.

Had heard that, Hop. I’ll test drive one sooner or later for shits and gigs but I don’t know man, just not a fan of turbo 4s in any configuration. If anything, what will keep me away more than the engine is the looks :puke:

Thanks everyone. I can't say enough about the car in the honeymoon stages. It was a tough decision going from a full size truck but this is more fun and practical for everyday use. Alfa has put a ton of money into the factory where these come from in order to break the old stigma. We'll see how it holds up over the lease! Only thing left is to tiny the front windows and then drive the hell out of it!

That’s nice, Graeme. Is that the same as the one we’re getting in the US next year?

Yes Chris more or less. This is the 2018 model but there is a slight facelift I believe for the 2019 version which is the one your getting. They are also making a proper Raptor version too which looks great.

Unfortunately I saw that the Raptor version of the Ranger is not officially announced for the US yet. Only released in Thailand and Asia currently. I believe Ford would have a big seller on their hands if they brought it to the US.

I'm not even sure of they are releasing the raptor in Europe either.

Gents, you guys have F150 over there instead of Raptor. Just curious what are the attractions for Raptor? Price factor?

It's essentially an F150 on steroids. Ford has beefed up everything to make the Raptor badass. Not to mention truckbro's like to do stupid shit with them.
