After a few months, the replacement is this Mustang. I went with the Ecoboost model and she’s darned fast as it comes from the factory. I negotiated some upgrades from the Ford Performance division; to include their performance pack and sport (Borla) exhaust. She’ll have 345 hp & 425 tq when these are done. It’s a fantastic car.
Congrats! Nice ride! Now add the radar detector and a laser jammer and you’ll be all set.

I personally prefer mine hardwired and tucked up above the rear view out of sight...

Love those. My brother-in-law had an IS300 (inline 6, manual). It was like a BMW 3-series, but
reliable.
Is that an IS250 or 350?

Thx. 10 speed auto. The trans was developed in partnership with GM and used across both companies. So far, from what I can see, it’s sturdy and efficient. Shifts are crisp and the auto is better in shitty traffic.

If that's the same 10-speed auto they use in the Camaro, it's excellent.

Febreze doesn’t sell a car air freshener with Poon scent.
Have you seen the back of the Mustang? I’m 6’3 280 So there will be no backseat shenanigans.

Ya, they're fun, considering the second hand market prices.
IS250
The guy before me had a muffler delete and cold air intake installed. It makes a nice noise hehe.

Haven’t seen Scouts except on rarest days
They made those about 10mi away from where I am. My g-pa joined IH after Korean War and retired from there. Never saw him have a scout- too bad he didn’t get one.

American history! I always wanted a Scout, but never made it happen. As I recall they were using the AMC powertrain.
Nope!... Only a few were offered with an optional 6 cylinder and they used an AMC 6 but they are pretty rare, mostly they had an International V8 304,345,392
Truck Motor and in 1980 you could order with a Nissan 6 diesel !

The first one I had was a 2wd 258 inline. It was a 74' model. Then a few 345's 4wd.

I just picked up this beater from a guy whose tractor I worked on last year. My wife wants our kid to learn how to drive in a Bug with airbags. So this one will fit that need for a bit. It needs a little work but it was stupid cheap, and the cash helped out someone in need.

My dad bought my mom a new 2000 vapor blue, had it about 5 years. She loved it and wished she would have kept it. They sold it years later to a local girl who learned how to drive with it. My parents ended up buying it bAck from her. Less than a week later lightning struck their huge oak tree and a limb came down and smashed that MTFr. Completely totaled.
I drove it around a bit when I was younger- was a fun little car with great safety features.

Constantly checking the local Craigslist for a manual IS300... A fríend had one and I loved it. I believe early IS250's could also be had with manual transmission.

The Tacoma is currently my daily driver, the Accord and Mazda 3 were sold. And this is the weekend toy:
This weekend I added and iPhone charger and a slip on Leo Vince muffler. Now it sounds like a real bike

Don’t know if it’s covid or people discovering the IS line but prices have begun to creep up here in Montreal.
I got mine for 5k in 2019, now asking for a manual is 7k with similar mileage.
