Re: What do you drive???
got a camaro to go with my truck.
v8 with a 6 speed - it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
I’m going to have to sell several watches to pay for it, but I think I’ll get more enjoyment out of the car.

Haven't posted the new 4runner in this thread yet. Here's a shot from last weekend after a ride on my new Salsa at Kennebunk Plains Preserve

They made those about 10mi away from where I am. My g-pa joined IH after Korean War and retired from there. Never saw him have a scout- too bad he didn’t get one.HapaHapa wrote:Haven’t seen Scouts except on rarest daysBradley_Goodchil wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:46 am2015 6L Holden Caprice

I can remember when the International Harvester plant in Ft. Wayne IN closed in '83. I lived in Ft. American history! I always wanted a Scout, but never made it happen. As I recall they were using the AMC powertrain.BBK357 wrote:They made those about 10mi away from where I am. Been driving the shot out of this lately. I’m leaning back toward keeping it, as I was starting to look...
And after I moved several of my nicer pieces, I got a new Kuat rack and carbon Trek bike, so it’s being used a lot more. This will be my last big purchase for a while, until the wife gets back to work...

Nope!... Only a few were offered with an optional 6 cylinder and they used an AMC 6 but they are pretty rare, mostly they had an International V8 304,345,392hoppyjr wrote:American history! What do you drive???
Meet my new girl, Sally.
My GLI spent half the time I owned it in the shop, so she went back to VW. The “Made in Mexico” VW wasn’t up to the quality standards of my prior German build VW’s.
After a few months, the replacement is this Mustang. I went with the Ecoboost model and she’s darned fast as it comes from the factory. I negotiated some upgrades from the Ford Performance division; to include their performance pack and sport (Borla) exhaust. She’ll have 345 hp & 425 tq when these are done. It’s a fantastic car.

I don’t drive crazy, just occasional spurts for fun. Radar on the dash is sure to negate my charm if I get stopped.Captdave wrote:Congrats! Nice ride! Now add the radar detector and a laser jammer and you’ll be all set.hoppyjr wrote:Meet my new girl, Sally.

Are/weren't you a cop? Can't you just recite your flawed LEO phonetic alphabet, drop a couple penal codes, and share the full frisking story of Ben to get a warning?hoppyjr wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 1:18 pmI don’t drive crazy, just occasional spurts for fun.
