What I took from that article is Uber is losing $600 million a quarter which, to me the layman, seems like 1) a lot and 2) not very sustainable.

That is, but in the happiest country on earth (Denmark) the lowest priced XC90 is about $185,000 and if you pimp it out with metallic paint, leather, bigger wheels, electronics and stuff it will cost about $265,000 - the B&W sound system is an additional $13,000. Basically, if you add all the options, it will cost over $300,000!
